COMMENTS: This is the
end shop/building after the Great Bridge Mkt car park and
is another location which goes way back for us,it has
changed little over the years even the outside looks the
same except the sign reads "golden City" before that it was
known as `Rainbow`.On entering throught the central doorway
the 2 cabs were located against the left wall,i still can
picture the chinese lady peering over the counter watching
us on occasion.
My strongest memories here are MagMax,Timepilot and
watching my cousin doing a `hunting method` on `Storming
party` killing soldiers on the beach level,as you can see
from the number of games below the games were not changed
at this location very often. =(
I personaly have an even more distant memory of this shop
before it was a chinese takeaway,it used to sell 8-bit
computer games and i recall the walls being filled with
many computer tapes.I do remember my mother buying me `Atic
Atac` for the Sinclair 48K Spectrum from there but thats another
story............
