COMMENTS: I remember
Playland very well, located along side the Union shopping
centre,even as a child my mother used to purchase wall
paper from the near by decorating shop located just further
along outside the centre area near the steps which led down
to `The Shambles`.As you entered the arcade i recall
`Cosmic Alien` facing you as you entered along the far
wall-i used to love playing that game simular but in my
humble opinion better than Galaxian but with the very last
alien of each wave turning into a huge winged alien and
swooping down the screen with a loud and distinctive
beeping sound....great stuff! 
Later on with the demise of the union centre area Playland
moved around the corner in Union St.
