COMMENTS: This chinese
take-away has been going in one form or another for quite a
few years,it is located on the junction with Wattle Road
opposite the works with was known back then as `The
Delta`.
Wow! another distant memory for us this way back towards
the start of our coin-op journey and our main memory was of
the `Aliens` cocktail table,of course there is no
connection between the popular film staring Sigourney
Weaver and the later alien games-this `Aliens` was possibly
a Space Invvader ptII variant/bootleg my cousin recalls the
invaders getting engine trouble during an s.o.s escape
interlude scene which would suggest this.There were quite a
few of these Space Invader clones around mainly
"Alien","Aliens" and "Alien2",i cannot remember if the
players shelters were numbered-i may be wrong but i seem to
remember the players ship being an odd pointy shape like
this:
