COMMENTS: The
first of two fish & chip shops which were actually
located side by side the names of both escape us,this shop
was on the corner of Hill St at the junction with
Navigation St. The chippy was large,spacious with large
glass windows like any other chippy but actually matched
the curve of the large bend in the road it was facing its
hard to explain without actually seeing it but it had to be
the most unusual shaped chippy ever but in an interesting
way,anyway my memory here is of `Xain D Sleena` (soldier of
light) and the game was here for quite a while. The location
is now occupied by The `ORION` Building! a monstrosity of
modern architecture which the the original shops have been
demolished for but strangely enough the end of the orion
building on the same corner is rounded in exactly the same
way as the chippy was.
