GAME ON

COMMENTS: My first retro type event and in my opinion the one which helped this little `retro` rivival thing we seem to be all having. This area of London to me was an utter dump! and finding the venue was a little difficult as the area near the Barbican is a multi layer of Rally-x type pathways adorned with shrubs and such and we in the end spotted a couple of guys one had a copy of a retro mag stuffed down his arse pocket so we followed him and that`s how we found the entrance .I do recall just one stall/shop to the left of the entrance on entering and there were really two main halls one with cabs on display and one with consoles and computers which were in cases that allowed play. Overall the layout of little rooms upstairs with the view looking down into the main room below was interesting as you did not know what to expect, but the main difference between this and the other retro venues are the cabs and retro consoles which were on display. There were cabs such as Pong! and Computer Space,you just may not ever simply get to see these in your life time except in photographs and that's what made it special.
